About Us
It began as a nickel hot dog stand in Coney Island in 1916 and grew to become the much-loved New York institution that continues to grow throughout the United States and the world.
Now you can enjoy the 90-year tradition and nostalgia of Coney Island right here in Minnesota at Mall of America. For the first time, Nathan's™ food products are available in the Midwest with a full-menu offering, along with exceptional food quality and efficient customer service.
With a menu led by our world-renowned, award winning food items: the Nathan's™ 100% all-beef premium hot dog and fresh crinkle-cut french fries; we also serve chili dogs, steakburgers larger than ¼ pound, char-grilled chicken and Arthur Treacher's™ seafood.
Nathan's products are distributed in 48 states, the District of Columbia, and 14 foreign countries. As of December 25, 2005, Nathan's™ restaurant system consisted of 365 franchised or licensed units and six company-owned units featuring the Nathan's™, Miami subs and Kenny Rogers Roasters Brand.
Nathan’s at MOA is owned by Chaney Opperman, an entrepreneur who started the Minnesota Cigar Store in Minneapolis and sold the business prior to opening Nathan’s at the mall.
